James D. Gann, CFO

Jim serves as Chief Financial Officer-Secretary and board member of RLTurner. Jim began his construction career at RLTurner in 1998 as Controller. In 2003 Jim was appointed by the Board of Directors as the CFO-Secretary of the Corporation. Prior to coming to RLTurner Jim was Controller for an electrical and pipefitting subcontractor.

As the CFO Jim is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our accounting, finance and human resource departments; Jim evaluates and processes various accounting areas to ensure our customer’s needs are met. His responsibilities include monitoring the cash management process which includes credit, insurance, tax policies and programs. He oversees financial planning, reporting and budgeting. He also administers the Human Resource, procurement and purchasing departments.

Jim serves on the Board of Directors for the RLTurner Corporation. He is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association, Indiana CPA Society, and AICPA. Jim has attended numerous classes and conferences on tax issues, accounting, negotiations, employee benefits, credit and collections, budgeting and projections. He has attended additional classes and conferences on PICK Operations Systems, Excel, Access, MS Word, Networks and SQL.
