Kevin McNabb, Manager of Field Operations
Kevin began his construction career as a Carpenter with RLTurner in 1988. Kevin was promoted to a Project Superintendent in 1995 and then his present position as Manager of Field Operations in 2006. Additionally, Kevin holds the title of Director for Total Concrete Solutions (TCS), a division of RLTurner specializing in various concrete projects.
As Manager of Field Operations Kevin oversees the field workforce which consists of Project Superintendents, Carpenters, Concrete Finishers, and Laborers. He ensures that all job site personnel are sufficiently trained and instructed in the proper use, installation, and implementation of the products, services, and materials utilized by RLTurner. He ensures that contracted work and projects are satisfactorily completed on-time and within prescribed cost. He oversees expense and cost reports so that they are properly controlled, dispersed, assigned, recorded and implemented. He communicates on a regular basis with decision-makers and key personnel to maintain good customer relations and to maintain flow of project opportunities into the department and the company.
During the course of his career Kevin has worked with a variety of clients including Eli Lilly, Noblesville School Corporation, Exide Battery, Carmel School Corporation, Marathon Oil, Kokomo Parks Department, Raytheon, Knight Transportation and East 91st St. Christian Church.
Kevin received a B.S. Degree in Construction Technology from Indiana State University and completed Clemson University’s Supervisory Academy program. Additionally, Kevin has completed the RLTurner Foreman and Supervision Training, Polished Concrete Training and Certification programs. Kevin frequently attends skill enhancement training courses and seminars.
Kevin is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Indiana (ABC). He is an Instructor for the National Center for Construction Education and Research Carpentry and Core Curricula. He is a member of the IRMCA.
In Kevin’s spare time, he enjoys golfing, motorcycle riding and teaching ABC Apprenticeship Training Courses.
