The First United Methodist Church’s 46,570 square foot project is a two-phase design and build project. The Phase I space was designed to be flexible so it could accommodate constantly changing activities. Seating, platforms, and equipment can easily be moved and rearranged to satisfy the congregation’s many needs.
Phase I includes an activities center with a kitchen, an administrative office area, an educational wing used for Sunday school, pre-school, and many youth ministries, a Christian Life Center that is used for fellowship, athletics, and as a worship space. Phase I also took into consideration Phase II, the future Sanctuary addition. The design ensures that the Sanctuary will seamlessly blend with the current structure and that alterations will be minimal. |
