Herron School of Art and Design was constructed to showcase design and art on both the exterior and interior of the facility, while serving as a cultural link to downtown Indianapolis. The 169,000 square foot center not only includes 7,000 square feet of studio space and galleries with rolling display walls but a 240-seat auditorium for instructional space and public programs, an 8,000 square foot art library, classrooms, offices and a grand hall for public receptions and events |
